World’s Greatest Communities Incorporated (WGCI) is committed to a legacy of development that will benefit people today as well as future generations. A stable environment for our communities is essential. Addressing the needs of local people that allow them to enjoy a livable, comfortable community is best achieved through effective economic development.

Infrastructure

Utilizing many years of expertise in construction, WGCI works in conjunction with local stakeholders and its strategic alliance partners to provide improvements. The organization also seeks opportunities to create jobs and continue to attract, retain and nurture a talented workforce that fosters sustainability. The foundation for long term economic development and
growth that benefits the community begins with the organization’s commitment to utilizing its expertise and resources to build critical infrastructure improvements such as the following:

The organization continues to serve the shelter needs of households with limited incomes and feels that housing for those who provide vital services within decent neighborhoods
is important. These people include the following:

  • Law Enforcement Officers
  • Firefighters
  • Bus Drivers

Nurses and Health Care Facility employees
The ability to reside relatively close to work can be beneficial to them and to the community they serve. This decreases the demand on the transportation systems. This increases the level of engagement with other residents in ways that foster a more stable environment.
A percentage of the income of homeowners will determine the prices of homes for which these buyers will qualify. The homes will be eligible to access funding resources from various institutions and governmental entities at the local, state, and national levels. This financing is designed to bridge the affordability gap by assuring that the mortgage payments are within the
capacity of the residents.

Affordable Home Ownership

WGCI provides affordable single family and multifamily home ownership for families with modest incomes. Some organizations served by WGCI offer safe, short term shelter for adults and children who need a secure place to mend, rebuild, and be restored from past trauma or self-destructive lifestyle. Transitional housing affords an opportunity for individuals and families to commence their healing process in a warm, positive, and supportive environment which encourages positive lifestyle changes. These are often managed by Resident Managers or Program Managers who supervise the activities of the residents and during this rebuilding process

Technology

World’s Greatest Communities views technology as a bridge for the ideas, physical places, and things that shape the way we interact. Confronting the challenges that arise from today’s rapid pace of continual change in Economic Develop and Housing is achieved by identifying and incorporating solutions that offer flexibility, efficiency, and security.
WGCI, and its associates, employ advances in technology to provide solutions that contribute to efficiencies of local and global economic growth and development efforts. This is achieved by focusing on 3 facets of technology to achieve optimal results for these communities:

WGCI works in conjunction with their collaborative partners to get optimal use of the internet, digital and mobile technology. The technologies are being used more frequently to conveniently gain access products and services that address the basic and the special needs of local residents.
Food delivery, ride sharing, teleconferences and virtual medical visits are just a few examples among the growing array of possibilities of services that will allow for a more to be achieved by people in less time.
